Biography: Pamela Washington is a native of Southern California, who moved to Las Vegas, in 1993. With a Bachelor’s Degree from Saint Mary’s College (Business and Political Science, class of 1981) her early work experience including banking operations, sales and marketing. Ms Washington also spent 5 years working in Beverly Hills as an Account Executive for Dean Witter Reynolds (now known as Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.) She also owned a catering and event planning business in Los Angeles, CA. Pamela started A-1 Janitorial Services in the spring of 1994, with/out any employees, she managed every aspect of the business. The firm now employees 32 people, occupies 1200 sq. feet of office/warehouse space, owns 3 company vehicles and an extensive array the latest commercial cleaning equipment. Ms Washington was featured in a book (authored by Joanne Gordon) which was published in April 2005 by Ballantine Press (a division of Random House books). The title of the book is “Be Happy At Work”. Ms Washington enjoys reading, travel, fishing, skiing, scuba diving, gardening, and cooking. She attends St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and is involved in community outreach programs such as Habitat for Humanity, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer…
